Katlyn Thomas, is an attorney at law in the United States and an avocate in Paris, France, licensed to appear before the courts in California, New York and Paris. In her law practice she specializes in the field of international dispute resolution before international tribunals, particularly with respect to disputes involving the Middle East/ North Africa (MENA) region.
She also advises clients on the negotiation of contracts for projects in the MENA region. In addition, she is CEO of Global Directives LLC, a company which performs consulting services for the United States government on issues involving commercial law development in the MENA region, for United States companies wishing to develop business with MENA entities, and for MENA entities wishing to develop business with companies in the United States.
In addition to her activities related to business development, Ms. Thomas has been a consultant to the United Nations on a variety of projects involving human rights, the right to self determination, and women’s issues, and has been actively involved in pro bono activities concerning these issues through projects of the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
